BSW Business Journalism Awards
Together with Börse Frankfurt, Boerse Stuttgart Group and gettex exchange the BSW has awarded the BSW Business Journalism Awards for the 19th time in 2026. Further below you will find photos of the award ceremony held on April 16 in Stuttgart, as well as the names of all the award recipients.
Daniel Mohr named Journalist of the Year
Together with Boerse Stuttgart Group, Deutsche Börse, and gettex exchange, the German Structured Securities Association (BSW) presented the BSW Business Journalism Awards for the 19th consecutive time on 16 April 2026. Around 250 guests attended the ceremony honoring nine award winners at a festive evening event held at the Wagenhallen in Stuttgart.
“Financial literacy is a prerequisite for making smart investment decisions. Today, we thank the many business journalists, finfluencers, and media professionals for their daily and dedicated efforts in conveying knowledge about markets and securities. A strong securities culture thrives on this enthusiasm for the capital markets,” said Christian Vollmuth, Managing Director of the BSW.
The jury named Daniel Mohr of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung Journalist of the Year. Lisa Osada was honored as Finfluencer of the Year. The special award for Editorial Team of the Year went to Börsen-Zeitung. An overview of all award recipients can be found below.

Klaus Scherer for his TV documentary “Wirtschaft im Stresstest – Ein Jahr unter Mittelständlern” (“Economy Under Stress Test – A Year Among Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises”), first broadcast on December 17, 2025, on ARD.

Sustainable Finance
Hannes Breustedt for his article “Krieg im Depot” (“War in the Portfolio”), published in the July 2025 issue of manager magazin.
Female Finance
Sarah Huemer for her article “Finanzfalle in Rosa” (“The Pink Financial Trap”), published in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung on October 26, 2025.
Special Jury Award for Financial Literacy
Melanie Bergermann, Michelle Jura, and Lisa Ksienrzyk for their report “Undercover in der WhatsApp-Gruppe” (“Undercover in the WhatsApp Group”), published on September 2, 2025, in WirtschaftsWoche.
Finfluencer of the Year
Lisa Osada, honored for her continuous commitment to financial knowledge and financial education. Since early 2020, she has been running a blog and an Instagram channel under the name “Aktiengram.” At the end of 2023, her book “Aktien-Life-Balance” was published and became a bestseller.
Editorial Team of the Year
Börsen-Zeitung, recognized for its unique range of topics in Germany that shape markets and market participants. For seven decades, Börsen-Zeitung has chronicled events in the capital markets—and now, for the first time, has been named Editorial Team of the Year at the BSW Award for Financial Journalism.
Journalist of the Year
Daniel Mohr of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung has for years researched and written about the benefits of the capital market. Despite all risks, his message is clear: not investing is not a solution. With depth and meticulous research, he highlights both the risks and the opportunities of investing in various asset classes.
